Swimmingly

I don't think Jaeminkins knew what hit him when he went to his first swimming lesson last week. He looked like a little lost puppy as he was in the pool being swished around, taken through a makeshift tunnel and having to listen to a heap of nursery rhymes and songs.

Pepe and I had trouble in remembering the words and one of the activites was to put them on the mat in the water and sing 'Jelly on a Rock'. Only to find the following week when I was in the water it was  'Jelly on the Plate'. Classic!

How cute do all the babies look, all lined up.
He looked like he was enjoying the experience with the other babies or maybe not.

The following week was my turn in the pool. I'm loving the heated pool and I think Jaeminkins is getting used to it. He's such a water baby, he doesn't want to get out of the water even after being in the water for more than 40 minutes.

As the instructor pours water over his head and Jaemkins shuts his eyes and this action readies him for the eventual underwater dip. Jaeminkins was ready for the next step as the instructor dipped him underwater and he came up okay with it all.

After each lesson as soon as he's dried off and put back in the pram, it doesn't take long before he's fast asleep. But it's not for long, as the peace only lasted for 40min-1hr before his afternoon tea.
