Happy 1st Father's Day

It’s crazy to think that a year ago to this day, I was quite heavily pregnant and Pepe was miffed that he missed out on Father’s Day. So in 2011, Pepe celebrated his first Father’s Day in style. It started with changing a rather potent nappy and then attempting to feed Jaemie and his expression tells you all.

Jaemie loves balloons and this one was specific for this day. Thanks to Aunty for the balloon too. It was a little time consuming to get the wording on the balloon and Jaemie actually looking at the camera at the same time but I eventually got there.

It was a glorious day and we decided to go on a picnic to Botanical Gardens. We walked through Bangaroo and Jaemie decided the walk was too long and wanted to get out and have his lunch. I also wanted to take a few action shots which you’ll see soon enough.

After having a play with his bib and spoon, he managed a few bites of his lamb and polished off his fruit salad. He has such a sweet tooth. He was happy as larry after his bottle of milk and crashed out in his pram.

That was great for us as we popped into Baroque and bought a few macaroons and made our way to Botanical Gardens. We found a patch of grass in the sun and enjoyed our picnic lunch and finished off with some yummy macaroons whilst Jaemie was having a long sleep.

We managed to get a kip and it wasn’t too long afterwards Jaemie woke up wanting to be apart of the action.

I was told at childcare that Jaemie loves his rice crackers so I bought a packet to check it out myself. It is sooo cute to watch him take these petite bites and wave the crackers about. Lucky we were outside as it does become a rather messy affair.
How cute is this, Jaemie made a card for Father’s day when he was at childcare. The card was covered in glitter, paint, a feather but I loved the photo inside showing him hard at work with his painting.

Wishing all the fathers’ out there a very Happy Father’s Day.
